Hi All,

I recently bought a year old Martin DC-16 RGTE Aura guitar. It is in excellent condition and the sound is great!

There seems to be a problem with the pickup though. Whenever I plug in, it seems as though I need to take out the battery and put it back in again for the pickup to work.

Then, usually when I take a break at a gig I would mute the PA, and plug out the cable from the guitar. When I plug the cable back in and go to resume I find I have the same problem, I need to take out the battery and put it back in again for the pickup to work.

Once the barrery has been reseated it does work but it is not an ideal situation!

Just wondering has anyone else experienced this issue or has anyone any ideas of why it might be happening?
