Twilight-breaking-dawn_510.jpgImage Credit: Andrew CooperThis week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly includes the first official photo from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, and here it is! Yes, that’s Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattison) sharing a bed as man and wife on their wedding night. Anticipation for the Twilight series’ fourth movie (due in theaters Nov. 18)is running high, anddirector Bill Condon tells EW that this was the one scene in particular he spent a lot of time thinking about. “You want to live up to people’s expectations,” he says. “People take [the movie and characters] personally. When you are interpreting something you have a certain vision of how it will be. Sometimes it is a liberal interpretation, but you hope you get to the essence of something.”

The most over rated series of movies ever, imho.
Very clever trailers though.... They cunningly fit every bit of action into each of the trailers.
Thus tricking us poor saps into watching with the women.
    Not this time though!

I have to say i do like the Twilight series. However, the books way surpass the movies in my eyes. Also breaking dawn should be one movie not two. Just look what they did with Harry Potter!!!!!! Hellooo, waste of time if you ask me...

I fell for that for the 2nd movie. All the trailers with the cool werewolf things had me thinking it could be cool to see on the big screen...........................................................man, was i wrong

Refused point blank to see the last one, and shall be the same for the next ones that come out!

They anticipated that we'd have kopped on to the lack of action by now. that's why they're going for a new angle: "Look ZOMG teh sex!!!!"

How are they going to have sex? he has no blood pumping through his body, does his penis run on sheer will alone?

If you watch the Twilight movies as comedies then they're great entertainment, me and my housemate watched the first one in tears laughing at how badly written it is (I read a chapter of the book just to compare, its even worse) and couple that with whathisfaces giant head and whatsherfaces "did I leave the iron on?" confused acting look and they're comedic masterpieces

I am ashamed to say I have heard my 2 cousins discussing this and they are 16, and know what the author says. Vampire vemon apparently doubles up as bodily fluids -blood etc and thus Mr Sparkles can perform apparently.

Never mind say how she gets knocked up considering it the vemon is supposed to kill and vamperise you once it enters the body.

Yep she just makes it all up to fit in with her perfect moral happy ever after idea.

What I am looking forward to is the press and parent's reaction to when wolfboy who lusted after poface Bella decides to move on to her baby as soon as it is born. So if he can't have Mammy he will have her daughter instead. Oh sick sick sick is all I can say. I mean Twilight was never great but after the last boook it hit 15 layers below rock bottom.

When we get to see the film where a werewolf falls in love with a baby there will be no need to make new films. We'll have seen it all.

Maybe when she gets laid she'll mellow out a bit and stop being a whiney, bi-polar weirdo.

Then again, it'll probably make her more annoying, if thats possible.

Seriously though, she is just a bitch. Leaves her friends to hang out with a sparkly vampire, drives her dad nuts leaving all the time in a huff. Stringing on the wolf guy for an entire movie, before dumping him when sparkles comes back. Total bitch

I would not count on it, I bet once she gets knocked up and again leads the dog on she be even more annoying. She has to be one of the worst female literary characters in a long time. Mind you it also does not help she is played by a whiney, poface weirdo too.

Quoted for truth, i find Kristen Stewart the most unattractive, untalent "actress" around, at least Sarah Roemer is realtively attractive, kinda....but her acting is dire.

I cannot fathom Stewart as she is such a tomboy, i can only think of one movie where she was girly, and her complection!! - she's the walking dead, my god....get some sun!

I think she's nice enough looking. That said I wouldn't exactly make peace with my estranged brother, raise the combined armies of Greece, set sail the largest naval fleet the world has ever seen, cross the ocean, storm the beaches of Turkey, besiege the city of Troy, build a giant wooden horse, hide inside said horse, ramsack the city and massacre those living within just to get with her...

Just think in a few years people will look back on these movies as high quality entertainment in comparison to the even worse muck of years to come.

This thread has been more entertaining than the entire "Twilight Saga"! *

    * And while we're at it.. f*ck off with your "Saga" - it's painting the series to be far more important and worthwhile that it actually is!

Stewart is a typical brat I think, and I would say the following about any actor/ actress who acted the same. She grew up in the whole film industry & knows what it is like but still complains and comes off as ungrateful about the opportunities presented to her. She hates the whole paps and media yet drives a car about LA with ner name on the reg plate. She gives interviews where she runs her foul mouth off about the press baiting them and saying how she is going to annoy them and then she wonders why she gets negative press. Ignorant on the red carpet and says she hates it and the gets into a snot when she was not invited to Oscars in 2008 and her father came out slating the Oscars for not inviting her etc

Do not get me started on her so called "acting skill". She plays the same character over and over again. Ok there may be slight differences but still more or less all the same - moody rocker, sullen moody prostitute, sullen moody girl with illness, moody girl who wants to have sex and that it ( no Twilight but Into the Wild) etc

When you look at her contempories such as Carey Mulligan, Saoirse Ronan ( who is 4 yrs younger), Anna Kendrick, Ellen Page, Emma Stone she really is outshone in every way - acting, general politness, manners etc. They all do what they have to do, do not court the media and come across as deserving well grounded young professionals.

Sorry, we've reserved that for Big Momma's House 3.

Which is probably a wee bit more appealing than Breaking Dawn.

I hate that anything thats made these days with some success then deserves being called "the blahblah trilogy" or "the blahblah chronicles" once the second movie comes out, LOTR is a saga, Star Wars is a saga, Twilight is a flash in the pan teen series, wonder how many people who love it now will watch it in a decade and cringe at it?

In years to come it will become kitsh and terndy to like the twilight movies, then it will transcend kitcsh/post modern irony to actually Cool !! then all of a sudden arts shows & critics will laud it's high culture merits and how audiences just didn't 'get it' first time round, then come the remakes . . .

    It's a PG-13 movie.. clearly there's no room for "wolf cock-and-balls"!
