Medical Card

Just wondering, my mother is 64, works part time. Some times 1 day a week, sometime no day a week and other times 4 days a week.

She finds out the week before what they need her for the enxt week.

Her pay would rarely be above 265 or whatever it is required for the GP medical card and when she is not working she claims social welfare.

How would she get the GP medical card?

    Thanks.

No harm in applying for it, the form is pretty straightforward and the worst they can say is no. You can even apply online at the site recommended above. Good luck!
