Hey,

Anyone here apply for this program this year. I have to say, it sounds like a great opportunity to get great experience and build up contacts in your chosen field.

Anyone have any success stories from doing it?

BUMP surely someone must be doing it at the Min ... Just wondering how people are getting on with it? what are some of the companies that you can be employed in through the program?

Also do many people on the program get offered a full time job with the company after they complete the EOP?

Have an interview for this next week. Just wondering if anyone else has one or perhaps have had an interview in the past? I'm a Msc Civil Engineering Student so surprised to get called but I'm sure not complaining.

Hey there, mine has been put back to early next week, so I'm in the dark too. Have a look back through some of the EOP threads from '09 and 2010; they were useful to me.

As pointed out if you do a search for ibed here you will find some useful info. It was a pretty standard interview, they basically just went through all aspects of cv and then some standard competency questions. Was only about 20mins also so all in all was good but even I get on panel, not sure of what the chances are of securing a job.

Hi, how did the interviews go? I have an interview with them this Thursday and am really nervous about it. Is there two people on the interview panel? What kind of questions are they going to ask? My degree will be in Accounting with no previous marketing experenice; should I be learning some marketing jargon for the interview?

In my interview he said they would be sending out the letter at the end of May.

My interview was in the last week of March and I havent heard anything either, so I wouldnt worry about it.

No news is good news I suppose.

Got accepted onto the "Panel" also. Got a letter in the post last week.

Found out via letter on Friday that I've gotten a place. Bit shocked, it did nothing to help my concentration levels an hour before a final exam!

Emailed to accept the place yesterday.

I havent received a letter yet or any notification to say that i got it or i didnt get it, dunno if this is a bad thing or a good thing, prob not great seing as everyone got theirs last week...anyone in the same boat??

Has anyone had a joy on a placement yet? So far I have heard nothing! I really want to secure a placement as there isn't much jobs out there at the minute.

I applied a couple of days ago for EOP 2012. I'll graduate this summer.

Does anyone have any tips/ideas/comments from having done this or know someone who has? What about everyone applying now/before, how did you tailor your application to get what you want? I love tech stuff so put down that, I see Apple takes some of them. I'm also interested in the tourism jobs in New York and Sydney so I put tourism marketing down.

I read the testimonials on the site and I read all the different countries people went and some jobs they got. I don't want to stay in Ireland, there would be few jobs that could keep me here, the Apple job in Cork would probably. I really don't want to get pitched somewhere I'm not interested! I speak other languages but really I think I'd like to start my career in the English speaking world.
