Hi guys , I hope this is the right section(thought this more appropriate than the marriage one) I am looking to get cheap silver or titanium rings for me and my fiancé , long story short we are heading to the registry office in the next few months and are on a very tight budget so we where hopping to spend as little as possible can any one recommend some where in Dublin to get them ??? Want to avoid online as we both need to have fingers measured plus what we buy shows up on other peoples credit cards and we are trying to keep it quiet

    Thanks in advance

    i would 100% Neil Conway Jewellers - 9b Trinity Street, Dublin 2

He is just off dame street. He hand makes all the jewellery and he is really reasonable. I went in and got a ring made for the o/h, who loves it.

He is a very personable chap, will talk to you for ages about it, and you can let him know your budget and he will definitely work around it.

Might sound a bit odd, but Argos do some nice titanium/silver rings that are perfect for wedding rings. See this page of men's titanium rings for an idea, and you can go in and try the rings on instore at the jewellery counter. My husband has a titanium ring from Argos and it's held up perfectly to constant daily wear for many years at this stage.

congrats on the upcoming wedding :)

    +1

Staff can measure your ring finger and you can try on, no bother.... If you don't want to go online then this may well be your best bet when on tight budget.

thanks for the congrats :D thats not odd at all we where thinking of argos but just wanted to see what else was on offer around Dublin, I have to say any time i have ever dealt with Argos staff at the jewellery counter they have been excellent to deal with (better than some high street jewellers I have used)

That's been my experience too, nice staff and v. patient, will let you try on any amount of rings etc and not get all huffy like some "actual" jewellers can sometimes do, but some people will roll their eyes in horror if I suggest Argos for jewellery, dunno why! Their stuff is as good as, if not better, than a lot of other jewellery out there!

Hope you find some nice rings for the big day :)
