Hi, I'm looking for a full coverage foundation for going out. I use colorstay at the moment which is lovely but there's SPF in it and really makes me look drained in photos when there's a flash.
Also, if anyone wears Sally Hansen tan in medium glow, a recommendation on shades would be amazing too.

I use Loreal's true match foundation and love it. I also use it for my photoshoots and it still looks natural

I've used studio tech, and it ran out so quick, is it the same for Full Coverage? What brush would you recommend applying it with? And would you trust it to last for a full day to evening event?

Full Coverage will last you months. I bought mine in september there is barely a dint in it. I just use it for going out. I use a foundation brush to put it on and then use a stipling brush over it. I wore it for my graduation literally from 10 o clock that morning to sometime the next morning I just put a little bit more on after I had my dinner to touch it up.

I only found out about it from this video. http://www.youtube.com/user/gossmakeupartist#p/search/0/Z7y3k6Ni3SI go to 2.40 to get the review.

Yep Double wear is amazing especially if you want a foundation that rarely needs retouching! I used to use Mac's Full Coverage but it wears off too easily and can leave your skin feeling oily!

Go for a foundation with no SPF because SPF reflects off the lights and when people take pictures with flash, you will shine like a ghost!
For going out, I generally use MAC face and body foundation.
Oh and I always use my smashbox primer. It stops foundation 'fading off'

I know, hence the search for something full coverage with no SPF! What's the coverage like on that???? I really need full coverage and staying power ya see!
I think unless anyone else has a recommendation with no SPF I'm going to take a visit to the mac counter and try this one or full coverage, wear it for the day and see how it sits on my skin.

Wana invest in that primer, but have the gosh one, and it does work so can't really justify it until I've used it up :O

I'd actually seen that somehow before, I think his rant at the start distracted me from the recommendation, ha

I think I should have put the no SPF thing in the title, cause that's kinda the main criteria! Oops...... my bad
