I think "standard" jeans length is 30" or 32". Are you buying them online? It's really easy to return for DP, you can just bring it back in-store. You get the sterling price you paid online in euro according to the daily rate.

Thanks, ya I've returned clothes to Dorothy Perkins after buying online in the past and they were great, put the money back on to my card with no hassle. I think it only applies to their own brand stuff though and other brands they sell through their website have to be returned by post. Wouldn't mind taking them up if they were a bit too long, but since they're bootcut, I'd ruin the shape of them by taking them up too much, so it'd be easier to know before buying.

Ah I see what you mean, you might be right there with the concession brand! You could ring and ask your local store.

What leg length would you normally be?

As an alternative, I (and a few other posters!) can recommend Gap's Long and Lean jeans. They are unbelievably flattering, and come in a 30" leg, or Petite leg, but it doens't state the length for Petite. I'd guess a 28" or 29". Example here.

Thanks for the link, the GAP jeans look great. I'm usually a 30" leg, though occassionally these can be a little too short. Think I'll give the GAP ones a go though, the sizing charts on the website are great so I should be able to get a pair that fits. If not, I'm hoping to make a trip to Dundrum sometime soon so I can try on a few pairs instore and find correct size. Thanks again :)

Just so you know you can return anything that is bought online to DP however you will only get a converted price. Say for example you paid 30 sterling, at the current rate you would get about €38.

Has anyone returned stuff to DP that they bought online by post? I've to return a couple of things and as one of them isn't a branded item I'll have to return by post, and just wondering is it free?

I received a label saying no stamp required.

I've looked on the website and it says international customers won't receive a free returns label and will have to pay the cost of returns, so I'm a little confused!
