I am only a student (so cant afford much) but need a mac for recording music at home. What mac would do me? I want to get a second hand macbook pro.. would that be good enough?

Also, anyone know where i can get a second hand macbook?

    Whats your budget ?

You should be able to pick up one on adverts theres a 15' pro (last generation) for 690 or an alu unibody macbook (almost the same as current model pro except for the battery).

If you can possibly afford it i'd look at a refurb direct from apple it's worth the extra few bob IMHO you could probably pick up a white unibody for under 800. nothing there at the mo, they update on wed/thu i believe ?
