    Oh, let us know how you get on. The high cost of travel and accomodation in Switzerland put me off going this year but deffo will keep it on the radar for next year.

    Just reviving this thread to see if anyone has completed this race and might have any feedback? I'm signed-up for the K42 this year. Was wondering if there's any argument for trail shoes, given that part of the race is on trail, or whether it's road shoes all the way?

    Also, in terms of nutrition/water, is there anything provided along the route, or do you have to carry everything you need? Typical marathon clothing, or bring an extra layer, just in case of adverse mountain conditions?
