Hey guys, just bought an M-Audio Torq Xponent yesterday, but am now looking for a set of monitors speakers to go with it as (stupidly) I forgot normal speakers that would plug into an iPod or whatever will not work with it, so would anyone recommend any monitors or speakers that would work with it and that aren't very expensive please? The cheaper the better because it's only for bedroom DJing at the moment!

Just get a 3.5mm to RCA adapter and use the speakers you have.

Look through adverts.ie for some cheap monitors, you can usually pick up a good set secondhand for about 100-150 euro. I would advise getting some good monitors instead of using ipod speakers, even when I'm not practicing I still listen to all music through the speakers and it makes a huge difference, it's nice listening to music through some good speakers.

I'm pretty sure that is the reverse of what I would be looking for if you get me?

Look on the Maplins website. They have all manner of combinations of connections.

I'm not sure exactly what you need. Do you have pics?

Then just look for the reverse connection? Pop into Maplins and they'll have it for you.

If the input cable in his speakers is removable then the above would do it. If its hardwired at one end though like some are use the below. This could also be handier depending on how you have stuff wired/positioned physically.

About 2 quid in maplins or peats(easier to get to).

That's what I thought. Maybe the OP has Zoolanderitis and can't turn left though?

Spin 270 degrees to the right, you might look a bit silly but at least you can master the left turn without fear.

Parnell is yes. Rathmines, College Green, Blanch and Newbridge are not:P
