Hey, I washed my white canvas Vans there yesterday and today I can see under the daylight that there are unsightly yellow stains around the areas that I washed. Anyone have tips on how to remove these? I presume it was the detergent that I used when washing them manually that has caused it

Well I'm not sure about whether it would cause any damage to glue etc. in the shoes, but Vanish is usually my first port of call for any stains. I've washed a couple pairs of penny's pumps with vanish and then normal detergent before and it was fine, but I wouldn't risk any good shoes just in case.
