Aer Lingus Booking Question

    So I just booked flights there with Aer Lingus. Went through all the steps but didn't get a confirmation email?(And it's definately not in junk) Also don't think I saw any confirmation page it just finished after the payment page? So I'm not entirely sure that it went through but don't want to book it again in case it has. How long does it usually take to get a email because I thought they were automatic? Any help would be VERY much appreciated.

    Just wait for a hour. Did you take note the booking reference from the last step of the booking step. If you did, then go to manage my booking and put in your booking reference. If it went through then your booking is confirm.

    That's the weird thing no booking reference ever came up cos I'm always very careful to take these things down!At the bottom of the payment page I clicked "Buy" and then it went back to the home page? I'm very confused maybe just a glitch in the website? The money hasn't come out my account yet either(payed by Laser but that can take a while sometimes so I don't know):confused:

    I have the same problem, booed one an hour ago and didn't get a confirmation email, I got my booking reference no. so it okay, but I requested an email and still nothing. :(


    EDIT: Just got the email and text message now.

    aerlingus has a reservations hotline in Dublin (and other places worldwide).

    I've contacted them numerous times on various things and its normally VERY hassle free and straight forward.

    If anything, having a person at the end of the line to deal with booking problems is one reason to deal with Aerlingus over some other airlines that pride themselves in being next to uncontactable!

    (I sound like an advert but when someone does something right then they deserve a little thanks and praise!)

    Hi. This is just after happening me? Can you tell me if it had booked for you or had you to rebook? Like you don't want to pay twice. It's very strange... i'm afraid it's a security hacking or something :eek:

    Sorry should have come back to tell people what happened! In my case the website timed out so the booking never actually went through so I ended up booking the next morning! If, like me, you spent more than a few minutes on one of the pages then the website probably timed out and your booking didn't go through. But that's only from my experience so it might be something else

    Well the exct same thing happened me :( I want to purchase ticket and it went straight back to home page. Do you think the fact that I have received no confirmation e-mail whatsoever mean the same thing has happened??
