I have an interview there this Tuesday  I heard its very good, thats why I applied, the pay is supposed to be great, €20 for the first hour then €10 for every hour after that, and theres also supposedly plenty of work to go around! No harm in applying, if theres work theres work ;)

I just started work with them in december, just through a friend of a friend who is a supervisor for sligo. Did one drinks promo then. Got a phone call yesterday to do work in Castlebar but I turned it down coz i dont drive! Zara from head office told me that there is generally 3 events a week in Sligo so there will prob be ten times more anywhere else ha! :D

I was thinking of applying here, but could anyone give me a little bit of info?? Is it door to door sales, most companys never say they are door to door

PM me if you have to, I'm so desperate for work

as far as i know its not sales at all, just promotions for example running a drinks promo in a nightclub/pub? handing out free drinks, mingling with the crowd, taking pics of the event. They give you the uniform for the event. Really i think they just want you to be outgoing and be fun!
I didnt have an interview, i live in sligo. I did have to send a picture of myself to head office they set you up an online account with a timesheet which you submit end of the month. It's back pay by a month so for example the work i did in december, i wont get paid till mid february. its not cash in hand either, it goes through the books.

    Hope this helps :)

They are a good company and if you have studied Marketing it might be a good place to get experience.

    Hi guys,

I have just signed up to work with Verve Marketing, and I just want to learn a little more about them.

Does anyone have an example of how they send their availability?

How were your experiences of working with them??

Hey, i'm thinking about applying to join the promotional team in verve marketing, but I was wondering if its hard to get into, as in do many people get turned down? Another problem is that i'm only 17 so would they not hire me because of that? Whats the best way to ensure you have the best chance possible to get hired? Thanks :)

Anybody worked at Verve recently? Is it possible to start working in the office with your MBA (Marketing) or first you have to go as a promotional staff?

I work for Verve Marketing as UPC Brand Sales Ambassador. You will have to start working as promotional personnel , make some contacts and then find out if you can get a full-time office job there. They only have like 35 full time staff so its hard. But all the employees (mostly women) who work there are really nice.
