what to wear with this green skirt?

Any suggestions for top and shoes to go with this skirt? I plan on wearing it out to dinner with friends within the next fortnight if I can turn it into a proper outfit

Fab skirt! I would just wear a plain black vest with it, with a nice cardie like the poster posted above me.

Skirt is fab and eye catching enough on its own, I would not wear any of the above items with it as it would make the outfit too fussy!

I think a plain black top would be lovely, it wouldn't take away from the fabness of the skirt!!

Thanks for the replies everyone, I LOVE this skirt and can't wait to wear it, think I'll go with the black top suggestions and black heels, would ye wear black tights or just slap on plenty of tan?

I think if you wear a fitted black top (vest or some such), the whole ensemble would look like a dress - fab!:D

Yeh I'm thinking a black vest, and maybe a white one as we come into spring?
I got it in H & M in Liffey Valley.
I saw it in cream aswell when I was in London before Christmas.

I think black tights is too much black. A plain black top, black heels and tanned legs would be really nice.

I'd go with a deeper green coloured vest or plain top.

to be honest i think just wearing a black vest would make it look a little tack! I think pair it with cream/white or another colour...brown, pink, navy or maroon. I love love the skirt but think pairing it with black would just cheapen it. How about a cap sleeved blouse? something like...

This probably wouldn't be for everyone but I'd like to see that skirt with a red strapless top. You could acessorise with red shoes or nude ones and a piece of jewelery with red in it, a choker, a pendant or a few bangles.
