Hard to find Sony games

In bricks and mortar shops

Games i am looking for:

Unchartered 1/2
Littlebigplanet 1
MGS
God of war 3

Game, HMV, extravision and smiths dont have these new in the ones i checked, i can get them online but find it odd none of these "top" ps3 games can be found in actual shops.

is there a reason for this?

A lot of the time the shops may only sell chart games new and the best games have probably just sold out and they figure they have enough of them in the preowned section so why bother buying more new games. Try www.argos.ie if you want those games.

HMV had uncharted 2 preowned for 39,99 and it looked liek someone bit the side of the case.

Argos have a few of them very cheap at the moment.

Game in Dundrum have all of those games pre-owned as well as a few brand new copies of GOW3.

It's usually hard to buy a brand new version of a game thats been out more than a year. You'll more than likely only find a preowned version.

The only copies of Uncharted for exampple that i've seen in shops in recent times are preowned.

Gamestop should have GOW3 for €10 if you trade a gmae in or Argos have it for under €20 new, also Xtravision or Smyths should have the rest preowned, in Smyths they are 3 for 2 at the moment.

If you have a PS3, you can go online to the "Playstation Store" and download Metal Gear Solid to the PS3 for €9.99. Littlebigplanet €26.99, don't know about the rest, but you could check.

You wont find mgs in any b and s,you best bet would psn store.

I know i can get them online but what i was wondering is why are the Ps3 exlsusives not available in normal shops.

I can buy Halo reach or mario galaxy in any game shop but struggle to fine ps3 inhouse games.

Can't explain that at all... You'd expect most of those games to be easy to find new in a B&M shop seeing as they all sold by the bucketload...
Halo, Uncharted and MGS aren't in house games btw, the devs just got big sacks of money to stay exclusive to the particular console. Bungie are both going multiplatform for their next IPs, and ditto with the next MGS game

Found MGS put teh disc in about 2 hours ago, just waiting for this video to finish then i can start playing

Ha get used to that, 30 min cutscenes are the norm in that game, the ending is over an hour long
