Goldcircle points on BA flight

Hi There, Does anyone know how many goldcircle points you get when flying BA? I will be using BA regularly over the next few months to fly London - Middle East, would it be more beneficial for me to signup to the BA programe? Thanks X

Sign up to Executive Club as there are far more opportunities to redeem points with any OneWorld Airline rather than the rather restrictive options with Aer Lingus.

You can earn points, just not sure how many. I flew qantas this year and earned quite a lot of gold circle points, into the 1000s.
