Try Fás maybe they could do it for a practice session. Don't think anybody else could do it properly for €60, too much work and tools required.

I would suggest you mention where you are.
    Is the pump belt driven?

Thats a pretty low price if someone has to drive to you.

Is the car driveable, or is the existing water pump completely dead?

I will do it for €60 - but i know nothing about cars so the car wont work when I done.

PS. I also do open heart surgery for €30 an hour but you need to bring your own bits....

Are you having a laugh? A part of the timing belt assembly has to be removed to get to the water pump. On some of the zetec engines the timing belt tensioner is bolted onto the water pump even though the water pump is driven off the aux belt.

You'd get yourself a haynes manual and a few spanners for 60... And do it yourself? No one is going to do that job for you for 60.

Ring around the local independent garages and tell them what the job is. On some cars they suggest changing the water pump with the timing belt, because they're both involve removing a lot of gear to get the job done.

Don't think the pump is belt driven. I know for sure it isn't on a 1.4, fairly sure it isnt on a 1.6.

As has been said, you'd be doing well to get it done for €60 euro.

The timing belt has to come off and that means the locking tools that are needed for the ford engines have to be used.

What has happened the water pump? If it has been changed properly at the same intervals as the timing belt it shouldn't have failed.
