    I'm guessing this means that IFO (the original two early 1990s factories, nearly empty now) is being refit rather than another new factory on whats a chronically cramped site:

    However, it pretty much guarantees Intel are going nowhere, even in part, for another decade or so.

    Great news but would 500million USD really refit a whole fab? seems a bit low I thought.
