    Hi
Can you chop up onions and freeze them raw and then add them to stews and cassaroles from frozen

I have some onions that i dont need to use and they may go off so trying to do something with them in temrs of storing them for future usage rather than binning them

    Thoughts?

    Thanks

Yes you can, but make them into individual serving so that you don't have to thaw out them all.

Tesco sell prechopped frozen onions now. They also sell frozen chickpeas and red kidney beans. There was some other odd frozen thing they had but I can't remember it now :(
