Hi hope someone can help or advise. Since last nite my phone will not connect to my router. My laptop is connected and working as normal but while my phone is recognising the router it keeps losing the connection. When it says it is connected the wifi signal icon doesn't show just the 3G one. I've tried restarting and resetting network settings but no joy. What's my next course of action? Tanx

Anyone? I'm desperate here and I can't find a solution anywhere online.

And my phone isn't jailbroken, I'm not a rebel!

Did you try clicking on 'Forget this network' or 'Renew Lease'? I wouldn't reset the network setting, I think that will lose you all your other Wi-Fi passwords for your friends/siblings Wi-Fi networks.

Did you restart the router? Change the Wi-Fi channel?

Yup tried all that. To no avail. Per Apple support full system restore should fix it, appears to be a regular problem! Thanks anyways.

Well, still no wifi on my phone. It's still recognising the router but won't accept the password (it hasn't changed) and keeps saying 'failed to connect to eircom***'.

Has anyone else come across this before? If I have to take it back is it into the Vodafone store?

So did you do full restore then or not?

Can you try on the wifi networks screen when you choose the network, don't click onto the one that has been found, but click Other...

Then type up the name of your network (don't mispell), security - most likely WPA2 - but subject to your access point configuration, then enter password. See if it can connect this way then?
