iphone 4 locked to o2 uk

    Hi everyone,

    I'm a newbie here. Just bought iphone 4 in uk locked to o2 with the impression it will work with my irish o2 simcard.
    NOT the case unfortunately.

    Anyone knows how i can unlock the iphone from ireland. I have tried contacting o2 ireland, no luck. o2 uk forum requires a valid uk number to be part of the forum.

    Anyone who can help, your assistance is much appreciated.

    Have a look at the unlocking thread stickied at the top, or go to iClarified.com, or buy an O2 Uk sim card, put in credit (Its much cheaper up North, at least it was?) and they will unlock it for you

    afaik o2 uk will unlock it for £15
