Electrolux Essential 1200 - Help needed

I have this washing machine - ZWF 12070W.
I am having a problem with it at the moment. The washing machine will stop during a programme (any programme) and the start/pause button will start flashing green, as if it has been paused and needs to be started however it will not restart and all I can do is turn the dial to off and try again when the problem reoccurs.
I have plugged it in and out, checked the input water pipe and also the draining which are all fine. Also I have taken out the filter in the bottom corner cleaned it and found that the impellor is turning freely.
I had this problem before twice while the machine was under warrenty and Electrolux each time sent out an engineer who when he arrived just used the dials and buttons to type in a sequence which reset the machine and it was fine again.
I have been searching the net and cannot find anything on how to do this. Also the helpline is closed for the weekend and I don't think they will help anyway due to the warrenty expiring and I don't want to pay for a call out if all he does is flick a few switches.
    Can anyone help please?
    Thanks
    Slaphead

    Where are you located ?

No one will tell you how to sequence the diagnostics
Too much can go wrong when you don't know what you're doing -machine is stopping for a reason

Majority of independent service engineers can't access the system so normally write the machine off

I'm in Dublin 15. I'm not 100% that is the problem but it seems like it is.
The guy who came out the last time told me the sequence, but it was ages ago and I know kept a note of it. The two times it happened he told me there had been nothing physically wrong with the machine and that the programme had just frozen.
As far as I'm aware, if there is a fault on the machine the start pause button flashes red?

Just tried the drain function, it is meant to last 2 mins but has been going for 10 mins after the water has been drained. It isn't doing anything but the LEDs are lit as they would be mid cycle.
