I've noticed on the back of every firewire mixer that there are two firewire ports. So if i take my firewire cable from mixer A and put it into mixer B will the computer read each seperate channel as though it is going into the interface mixer... or will it just sound **** and not work?

firewire is daisy chainable, that's why those ports are there. I use mine to plug in my backup firewire drive.

if you're using a mac, you can plug in 2 interfaces and then combine them into 1 virtual interface using the mac audio/midi control panel in the utilities directory.

i've done this before using the alesis 16 fw and an m-audio sound card
