A wounded fox shot its would be killer in Belarus by pulling the trigger on the hunter's gun as the pair scuffled after the man tried to finish the animal off with the butt of the rifle, media said Thursday.

"The animal fiercely resisted and in the struggle accidentally pulled the trigger with its paw"

cruel fecker. couldnt he not just reload and put it out of its misery. attacking it with the butt of the rifle? in all fairness what was he thinking. some people dont know a thing about been humane

the part that gets me is

i would of though most hunting rifles would be bolt action so there for unless it is semi he would of had to reload it himself with the bolt action just to walk over at hit him with the but and plus he obviosly didnt bother putting safety back on atleast unless the fox was really lucky or really knew his guns
other than that one thing to say
    murphys law

Possibly a cover story for him been accidentally shot by another hunter? Seems a more plausible story to me.....

    how did the fox struggle?
he shouldnt be above his knee? you'd swear it was a bear that lunged at him or something. shot in the leg? how small was the gun to say it shot him in the leg?

complete recklessness id say and they made up that crap

I think there's more to this story than meets the eye, I'd say someones buddy shot him and there's abit of a cover :D up... Or the fox didnt want sexual relations with the man :):):):) LOL and if it is true he should have his license took off him for being a n00b, imagine trying to kill it the butt of his gun. What a tube

MOSCOW (Reuters) – A wounded fox shot its would be killer in Belarus by pulling the trigger on the hunter's gun as the pair scuffled after the man tried to finish the animal off with the butt of the rifle, media said Thursday.
