    Hi all

Sorry for barging on but wonder if some of you experts can answer a few questions.

We're looking at installing a multi fuel boiler stove in a house with no chimney. Have done a lot of reading here and online research and have found a supplier locally we're happy with but we've a number of questions.

    1) they're recommending a Hamco Flue. I can find very little on the internet on this company and am wondering if anyone has any experience?

    2) they're recommending a clearview stove which from what I've read, are top of the range but God - they're pricey. Anyone have any experience - are they worth the extra money?

    3) we're based in Enniscorthy and this company is about a 30 min. Drive away (I assume I'm not allowed name them?) and specialise in Boiler stoves - does anyone have any experience?

    Thanks for any help

    SS

When I needed advice on fitting my flue I found Oriel Flues quite helpful.

They had stoves in stock the day I went up to get my flue bits so maybe they'll be able to help you with that too.

Read up here and I think one of them posted on here re stoves before
No harm getting an opinion off a non stove salesman!

    StoveSearcher,

In 2009 my installer used http://www.poujoulat.co.uk/ for our woodbuner, it was bought through a supplier in Wicklow. It can also be bought through Belfast. To say if it is better than another I have no idea but the website has a lot of advice. There was also someone in Waterford selling flues in matt black which looked less obtrusive than the SSteel.

    Hello
Did you go with the Hamco Flue afterwards? Like you I can't find much about it and it was the flue recommended to me as well. Wondering how you got on with it as it doesn't seem to be used by many?
