pipes vibrating after flush

Hi ,just had new bathroom sink and toilet bowl fitted, both mains fed . and now after flushing there is a weird noise and vibration in pipes for about 30 secs, which only stops when i turn on cold tap in the sink, I have adjusted the stop cock up and down ,to no avail . any help appreciated!!
