Hi, I'm a catholic engaged to a divorced protestant. Can we marry in a protestant church?

I honestly don't think there's any problem with divorcees marrying in the CoI, but I could be wrong. I'm almost 100% certain Catholic doctrine prohibits it. There's definitely no problem with a Catholic marrying a protestant in a protestant church, from the CoI point of view. Not sure about the Catholic side TBH. best thing to do is ask the rector of your husband-to-be's parish.

Last year 2 friends of mine had the same question! So what they did was, they did the registry office 1st with just their witnesses. Then on to the Protestant Church where everyone was waiting. Her son,who was 15 at the time walked her up the aisle. The Dean did the most beautiful personel service then, where they received a blessing. It was made just for the 2 of them..it was just so lovely. Everyone said it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to. :)
