    Hey,

Just wondering how Big 4 internship application process works.

As in, do they hire on a rolling basis like investment banks or do they wait until after the deadline day to interview?

Also, is it ok to apply for different locations of the same company e.g. Limerick and Dublin?

    Thanks

Hey! As far as I know you can only apply to one office and while there are few internship places in the Big 4 anyways there are much less in the regional offices as opposed to Dublin so you may have more of a chance with a Dublin application.

Last year we were called for interviews after the deadline and there was a wait to hear if you were successful or not until after everyone had been interviewed..

I would say knowledge about your future career aspirations and how the internship is going to help you achieve them is an important area to have prepared..ie why they should pick you as its a competitive process!

    Good Luck :)

    Thanks for that.

So, when did you find out?

Deloitte seem to be the only one advertising at the moment, any idea when the rest opened applications last year?

I think it was like a week after my interview?

They were all open around late Jan/early Feb as far as I know..Just keep an eye on the graduate homepages.. As soon as they open there will be talks in your college etc with speakers in advising on the applications and stuff..

Have u applied for the Student Business Forum in Deloitte? This interview is slightly more competitive than the internship one as there are fewer places. It would be really good experience for you if you are hoping to interview for an internship..

I got offered my intership as a result of my interview for the SBF and didn't have to submit my internship applications in the end so that's another option :)
