I'LL give the my first 10 i would have on the list.

    1.Tommy Walsh
    2.Henry Shefflin
    3.Joe Cannning
    4.Eoin Kelly (Tipp)...waterford 1 well overrated imo
    5.John Mullane
    6.Jackie Tyrrell
    7.JJ Delaney
    8.Tony Browne
    9.Lar Corbett
    10.Padraic Maher

next few on my list would include the likes of Noel McGrath, Richie Power, Ben o' Connor,Shane o'Neill, Cathal Naughton and Damien Hayes. Since Ollie Canning just retired i didnt include him.

AS A CLAREMAN, cant wait to read the list and see does any1 make it even into a list of a 100 hurlers.

couldnt get the list but here are the comments on the players. figure out who they are talking about.

    http://www.independent.ie/sport/hurling/100-greatest-hurling-stars-of-today-2497360.html

Top 10 is: Shefflin, walsh, delaney, cummins, kelly(tipp), canning, tyrrell, corbett, brick walsh & mullane.

hard to disagree with the players in top 10 but strange that Cummins is up that high.
disappointed tht pat vaughan couldnt even make the 100.

Didnt realise King Henry was a Waterford man Daysha:D

Jeez Daysha I knew Waterford city was close to KK but...:D

Hickey the top Limerick player is about right. The fact they weren't playing last year did the Limerick boys more favours. I'd have Dooley higher for what it's worth.

A list like this must have been awful tedious to make though

Ben O'Connor No.24!!! I think not. 4 would be fair.

It's not a horrible list in fairness. It something I probably would've liked to have done someday but just never had the patience for it.

Hehehe. Luckily for me it was just a copy and paste job. I have better things to be doing than typing all that out...

    ...

    :pac:

I remember seeing him against Cork a few years back and I think he got 6 points off Cadogan and got sent off in the same game! Unbelievably talented, he seems to have curbed his temperament some bit too from what I saw of him with Shamrocks this season.

I'd have him in the 6 best forwards in the country on his current form

    50 – Paddy Stapleton (Tipperary)

    and

    79 – Michael Cahill (Tipperary)

I'd reverse those placings, for sure

Michael Cahill at 78? He's a top 30 player and a top 10-15 defender IMO.

Seamus Callinan at 63? He hasn't warranted that in my view.

Patrick Maher doesn't score much but he's better than 92.

Paul Curran at 25, Cummins at 4, Kelly at 5 all OK I think. Odd list in places.

Based on last year's campaign yeah?

the list is based on 2010 campaign, hence Callinan being on it and others being further down/up the list than they should.
