Website Terms and Conditions Help

I need a little help finding legal assistance to write / check the 'terms and conditions' for my soon-to-be website. Seeing as there's so many websites out there I assumed that many solicitors would have some experience with writing them. I am finding by phoning around that it is not the case.
Hopefully someone can point me in a direction of an online directory?

Listen, you're asking a question which actually is like asking how long is a piece of string. I mean that in the best possible sense.

Try here: www.out-law.com its a UK site run by a firm called Pinset Mason. There are Irish firms who do this work, but the reason for the above view is that all of these things are subject to the nature of your own business.

Thanks Tom, I understand what you're saying, but I'm trying to 'get a price' so I can work out seeding money. I need to discuss my needs with a few solicitors to get an understanding of average cost (which I'm not willing to do on here).
By making a few phone calls to local solicitors in the Wicklow area, I'm not having much luck. I also doubt I can afford a specialised department in a large corporate firm either.
I'm actually hoping someone will direct me to an individual who has written or overseen the T&Cs for a number of small to medium business websites.

You could try Enterprise Ireland http://www.enterprise-ireland.com/en/

That's what they are there for to help people start their own business especially E- Commerce

Also I know they give Grants for web sites so they might even pay for your legal info..

Any solicitor that advises on business law should be able to help you. Ask around.

A lot of website owners write their own from fresh or use a template or, who knows, from other sites.

Here is a link that might get you started, but it may not suit particular requirements that you have.

    Good luck.
