Hi, I have just purchased a new laptop and really want to make the most out of it (I previously would always have used a desktop and would have just used it for basic work related needs) When I was researching what laptop to purchase I was impressed by the idea of using it as a 'multi media' vehicle. As a complete novice in this area can someone please offer advice on streaming ( think this is phrase!!) tv and movies?
    In particular,
    • suggestions on which websites to look at to get info? At the moment I would be interested in various US tv series that may not be viewed here yet,Family movies and Sports events
    • which downloads are necessary, recommended and safe to use
    • Is it legal?
Apologies in advance for my non-technical mind!!

quicksilverscreen.com forums are good for streaming.

Megavideo links are nearly always fast and good quality.
