    Hi there,

I'm researching something at the moment and I'm keen to speak to someone who would have been politically or socially active in Ballybeg in the 80s. Can anyone recommend anyone?

    Thanks in advance

Send an email to the local union leaders maybe? With it being so close to the old Waterford Crystal factory, I'd presume they were involved/active or would at least know enough to point you in the right direction.

Get in contact with the Residents Associations there. Many of the people involved in them would have been around in the 80s too.
