keep someone's attention?

So you're in the very earliest stages of a relationship.....the texting stage say. Everything you send sounds like absolute drivel, you barely know the person and coming up with things in common to discuss is turning your brain to sh1t.

Surely loads of people struggle with this sort of problem, considering the fact that dating is rare practice in Ireland and everyone just goes round drunkenly lobbin the gob of each other at weekends??

Get her to talk for the most of it and throw in your experiences where it suits. If it looks like you're running out of stuff to talk about on the topic change it subtly, ask a question without making it look like a question. A constant bombardment of questions just looks like someone who can't hold a conversation.

From experience though someone who is hard to text is someone I usually don't have a lot in common with or just don't "flow" with. If you've been texting more than a week and it's still like that meet up with her or leave it.
