Bit of a weird one. The recorder box deletes saved programmes after a day or so.
I've checked the manual and googled a bit but no joy.
Also reset to factory settings through the Menu, still same problem.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

you may have the space saving setting turned on

I was thinking that too but there is no setting for that and also the disk is 100% empty (since the DVR have deleted everything...), odd alright.

Came home to find all our recordings gone. Auto disc space mgmt is "off". Thought it would never happen to me! Could an overnight update automatically delete recordings?

    Edit: Using Cisco HD DVR

Even if i protect the recordings by pressing yellow button they get deleted.
