Hi, I'm looking at buying a 2009 focus 1.8 biofuel. Any advice? Are garages selling boifuel hard to find? Anyone know this car and how it performs?

It can run on e85 and normal 95 octane. The performance is mostly the same as a standard focus.

There are quite a few maxols and a couple of other garages selling e85 around the country however it seems likely that its going to be discontinued in Ireland shortly.

So I'd be still ok with the 95 Octane?? Or would I be F****d??

Yes fine but why bother with the FlexFuel model as E85 is being dropped in Ireland.. unless the Flex version is cheaper or something?

Yes it is cheaper, but I think I'll forget it. Thanks a mil! The search goes on. Looking for something 2009 for around 14000 or less, preferably diesel but not sure about the whole petrol diesel thing. Don't do huge miles.
