Looking a the E-Class Merc lately, one thing thats annoying me about them is a digital fuel and temp gauge. Seems like its not connected as the old gauges. Maybe is old man syndrome again. :(

Don't do it, VB. Everyone know's the last generation E-Class was dirt.

While we're on the subject, I know you're probably not interested in a Volvo, but I spotted this absolute bargain which would be perfect (diesel, automatic, leather etc): http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/1804810

How do you know it's a bargain when there's no mileage quoted? Would it be a bargain if it was a doctor's car with 180,000 kms on the clock after four years?

One plug at 1:02 followed by an endorsement at 1:03 has a slight whiff about it.

Holy Jebus that's a lovely car. What's wrong with it, I wonder?

    Now that's high-quality paranoia.

Find a luxury 4 year old diesel for that value regardless of mileage.

Also the "plug" you mention, any regulars here will know thats not what that was so I'm not going to bother discussing it

A google search picks up a few more cars from this seller none contain a name though

Also, even if it was a doctors car or even a taxi and had been serviced and cared for properly then yes I would still consider it good value for someone who covers miles and just wants a comfy work horse.
