I've only just discovered that in the UK there are online car "brokers" that, just like insurance brokers, will compare dealers nationwide and come up with the cheapest price available for a new car. It saves the hassle of driving around to different dealers looking for who will provide the best price. From what I've read, you're likely to get a much better discount than sales floor haggling.

I think I know the answer to this question but, do we have any car brokers here in Ireland?

I haven't used them yet, but have been in contact with them as I'm lookingfor a second hand jeep. Awaiting finance to come through but think I will usethem when it does. Seems to be very knowledgeable of the trade and can probablyget it a bit cheaper than I could myself.
