Sent my business name registration form by registered post to the CRO which they received on the 15th of December 2010, now I find out that they posted it back to me by regular mail without making a copy or scan of it . . . . you guessed it !! it got lost and they dont have a copy, now according to the lady I have to resubmit my application, looks like the whole process is going to take at least 8 weeks +.

This person should of made a copy or scan of my application, this has to be standard policy, she says they do not have time to do so  5 seconds I recon.

Anyway will get this sorted tomorrow as all the lady did was blaim the postman.

You can register a business name online with the CRO in minutes and at less than half the cost?

They were sending it back out because the place of business was a residential address and said it would be more suitable for a business/commercial premices. Never had queries like this on business name registrations before.

At the end of the day all I want to do is register a business name, take my €40 and give me my cert.
