    Tanaka Browning from ehobby
    WE Browning from SEairsoft.

There is already an active discussion thread for the WE Browning so if there are
any comments regarding differences between the two brands it may be better
to post on the discussion thread so they Mods wont give out rather than here :-)

Loved the browning since I had a chance to fire the real one
in my teenage years with the FCA, When I bought the Tanaka
version I was a little disappointed as it was all ABS which meant
if I was to try and age the body to make it look worn it would need to be
done by drybrushing metallic paint rather than taking a scuff pad to a metal body.
When WE decided to make a full metal one I HAD to get one. :D

Posting some side by side pics They are not great as its overcast/dull/wet today.

Tangent sight on the WE one as its a different model
lots of other differences too, external vs internal extractor (cosmetic) the
    levers and hammer etc.
    Img_1239.jpg

On the Top the all Black Tanaka, The Slide, Body, Outer Barrel are all ABS.
The magazine catch, hammer, trigger, mag release catch are metal.

On the Bottom with the WE you get all lovely metal goodness all over.

The Chambers are different (Tanaka on Top, We on Bottom)
And there are no trademarks on the WE version.

Also if you notice the recoil rod/guide for the main Spring has Buffers on it.
As far as I am aware (correct me if I am wrong) these are used to reduce wear between metal on metal parts?
    Think I remember reading something
about adding washers and plastic buffers in Raceguns for this purpose
as well as reducing the amount of travel on the slide.
    Img_1236.jpg

The Magazines look very similar and both brands fit in each gun.
Putting the Tanaka into the WE sometimes does not lock into place.
The WE magazine fills perfectly and silently.

I tried firing from both guns when I swapped the magazines a few time
but alas they Vented all the gas out when I fired the gun.
But they did fit in the gun and lock in place finest.
In each of the Pics of the mags below the Tanaka is on the left,
and the WE is on the right.

    The Slides.
The WE Metal Slide will go on the Tanaka perfectly and fire fine.

The Tanaka ABS slide will go on the metal body of the WE with Effort
but its very stiff and if you rack the slide the Spring seems to catch someplace and it does not move and you almost have to force it.

Tanaka on Top, WE on the Bottom:

    Bodies:
The body look almost the same, there is a little bit that looks
like an extractor (but its not) not sure of the function, it may
have something to do with feature where the gun wont fire unless
the magazine is inserted. Or not I don't know yet. But there is
a difference. On the Tanaka Brand this piece is curved to the right
    more than the WE brand.
