Really getting in to editing and creating basic doc's and music videos on Cyberlink Powerdirector - I understand this to be a good basic starter software application. But I now want to look at possibility of something a bit more advanced as some of the ideas I have are not possible with Powerdirector....I want something ideally that can handle split screen footage - each screen being different piece of video...TV wall effect in Powerdirector is great but doesn't have option to have diff video in each split screen...also something that handles 3rd party plugins if needed

Any ideas and what price range are we loking at?

Prem. elements is a good step up to Premiere Pro.
