I'm fresh of a 2 month trip through Vietnam where I managed to put 4550km on a motorbike... I'm already itching to do another one and for the sake of daydreaming, where else in the world would be good for this?

South America is the obvious one but where abouts?
    India?
    Beijing > Xian > Shanghai?
North Eastern Europe > South Western Europe?
    Route 66?
    Pan American Highway?
    Africa?
Bangkok > New Delhi through China and Nepal?
St Petersburg > Moscow > Volgograd?
    Eastern or Western Australia?

Since I'm not comin home for a few years, I'll probably revolve my work travel work travel plans around doing a trip and then settling down so it's just a matter of time really..

Done this recently but not on a bike was a convertable drove san diego to seatle along the Pacific coast highway, never really liked america that much until i drove this, the scenery the people and we went in the off season so in may when its not too busy and you dont get a big traffic jam, but we had time we took 3 weeks to do the enitre thing so it was at least an enjoyable holiday. cant remember the exact milage but was somewhere near 5000. will be doing it again in 2 years on a harley just for the fun of it.

Did 5000+ miles accross the States during the Summer. Loved all of it apart from the bike (a Harley). Didn't hate Harleys before the trip but I do now.

Utah, Colorado & Arizona were the highlights for me and maybe, just maybe, I'll get back over next year.
