looking at impoting a 7 seater trooper 3.1 or a pajero from uk.
Ive searched through the revenue site and plugged in the figures and it said ill only need to pay the 50 vrt. Ill be removing all the rear seats ye see. Is this correct or do i still need to pay 13.5% OMSP even though im gona commmercialise it.

    thanks in advance

Yep, both those are long enough to qualify for €50 vrt, converted a shogun this time last year.

13.5% would be if It was a short wheelbase commercial.

and would it be long enough to be a crew cab. Ie keep the middle row of seats or is that law done away with.

I doubt it, or if it was allowed, it would be 13.5% VRT. I'd also double check what the score is on commercial imports, under EU regulations being applied, new commercials have to be factory built, not post production conversions. Whether this applies to S/H imports I don't know. There was a recent thread on the subject

They changed the crewcab regulations about 6 years ago, the loadbay with seats in won't be long enough on any jeep.
