Springs Renault Laguna 03

    can anybody tell me please if it any diference( on quality) between the springs of a renault laguna 2003 diesel.???
    renault dealer 200€ + vat ..for one
    local car parts shop 75 €...for one ..Thanks !:confused:

    You get a Renault box with one and you don't with the other.

    1 of mine snapped just before xmas. Dealer wanted €200 + VAT. Also wouldn't have them for 2 weeks and said I needed a colour code from the spring, which would mean taking it off. Got 2 for €120 in motor factors around the corner. He keeps them in stock as it's a common failure.
    The motor factor ones are probably better quality than Renault if it is normal for them to fail.

    mine one snapped 2 days ago.. at 20km/h and destroy the tyre....looky:(

    Newry dealer : £177 + VAT @ 20% (since 4/1/2011) = €252
    Southern dealer: €200 + VAT @ 21% = €242

    €1 = £0.842478

    On a side note it is best practice to replace in pairs. maybe that is why the newry dealer priced a pair.
