    Hey guys, I request your knowledge.

    I had a tap over the weekend and its gone to insurance. so my no claims is gone :(
    But I'm at the start of my new years policy, and I'm wondering if this time next yeardo I have 11 months clean or no months clear as it was a claim on this policy.

    tldr;
    Does the bonus go by actual time or full policy length

    Policy year is the general one that other insurers will want to know. Quinn's NCDs from experience have two entries, one is years since last claim and the other is policy years.

    If you have had a claim in this year's period of insurance, you will have 0 no claims bonus at your next renewal date (unless you had a protected bonus)
