Cheap Wifi music player..

Hi There,

I'm currently in the market for a cheap(ish) network (wifi) music player..

I want something that gives decent sound with decent volume. It's only for the bedroom, so not too loud.

I have seen a nice Sony unit that does Wifi, Wb Radio and ipod/usb.. That was €340 and the Logitech units are a little cheaper.

To be honest I would probably spend that money if there were no cheaper solutions.

Off the top of your heads is there anything else that might work for me?

Don't be scared by the price. I bought one recently from a guy on eBay for £80 (made him an offer). Not sure if it was this guy though.

Its still in the box, so haven't tried it out yet, but for the money is isn;t much of a risk.

I have a Squeezebox Classic connected to my hi-fi and a Squeezebox Boom in my kitchen and am thinking of getting another one for the bedroom if I come across any second-hand. I've ripped most of my CD collection to the lossless FLAC format and play the music files from the Squeezebox server (an old Pentium III running GNU/Linux). The sound quality of the Squeezeboxes is excellent and once the server has been configured correctly, the devices are easy to use (you can even control them using smartphone apps). The documentation and forums are well perusing reading if you're considering going down the Squeezebox route.
