Diesel car under €6k??

Hey looking to change cars atm, have a 3dr Almera but not really fond of it. Only worth a few grand. Looking to get a diesel as do a fair few miles plus good few long journeys approx 20k miles a yr.

Would reckon id have top end budget of 6k if i get rid of Almera.
What would people recommend. Not really big into cars so any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Had a focus diesel and liked it and did not have any trouble with it and covered 150k . Would consider focus, octavia or avensis diesel. Would be nice if you could get low mileage and some service history with a diesel, because for the money you are paying you will likely end up with a car that has over 100k. Most diesels are bought by high mileage users.
