people are bound to be pissed off with me at this stage.

went into a supplier in the north today to make an initial enquiry about heating options

almost everything was to small.( back boiler stoves, cookers)

he had on display 3 other options

1 pellet boiler. ruled out immediately

2 wood gasification, possible at a ball park figure of £8100stg supply, fit and comission.

3 wood boiler, similar to the gasification boiler but with less technology to it, same storage tanks and exp vessel. burns anything at all. dry waste, sawdust, wood, coal, turf, wood chippings. does not qualify for grants

has anyone got any feedback on option 3, they say it needs loaded and de-ashed more often but i would like to hear from someone who is not selling it to me

does the price for option 2 seem high?
