hi all, finally decided to join up after many weeks of following all the threads, basically the jist of it is with current climate and with funds low im looking at cheap membership in cork.quick background about my golf, joined distance membership in waterford last year.first time joining a club and was good price.from march to last card put in august i went from 16 to 4.5.which leads me to main question.with my poor budget, one club im looking at has no team golf and has poor opinions as a course.other two options are 9hole which not sure about.is lack of team golf a big issue?both 9hole courses that might be option look short on card and other thing that would bother me is if out early which i like to do you would meet traffic when back around for 2nd 9.stupid complaint i know.is team golf something i need to experience to improve?

That is some going to drop 11.5 shots in 6 months.

What part of the county are you looking at? I presume if you were a member of a club in Waterford last year that the east of the county would suit you.

What is the problem with Frankfield?

hi curly from cork,as said in first post raffeen is one of options for me,mainly due to it being around corner from me.the 18 hole option is around corner also and is only recently again taking members, prob dont need to mention it and its not looked upon greatly.its really only a runner due to how close it is and price.as said no teams there and as finished 4.5 last year but still room to drop please god i feel might ad something to junior team and just the experience might be good?can you tell me are ye taking members and i know its short but is it nice course condition wise.ive heard good thigs to be fair.how does 9hole system work when playing the 18 with people starting there round and others playing 2nd 9.sorry about the ramblings, just want to make right move as didnt make most of playing in waterford due to distance
