    Hi,

I've get a leaflet from the Sky Conway today, they offer signal from 13 Degrees Hot bird satellite (own box needed. There is only connection fee of 100 Euro.
My question is.. Is there anybody using such thing in some apartment complex?

if yes, pls tell me how is the signal is strong enough.

In an old apartment block I lived in Astra 2 was offerred and the signal strength and quality was 90 - 95% in all weather.

Can't imagine that being much different.

Alot of apartment complexes should (possibly have) 13.0East Hotbird and Astra 19East as they give a good selection of European channels and alot of Polish and other Eastern European stuff is located on Hotbird so it makes sense to pipe it into the apartments if there are people from these countries living there.

One dish could feed the whole apartment using specialised equipment which splits the signal multiple times without loss of quality. If the €100 is for a permanent connection and is not some yearly thing then it is good value as a dish and installation would cost as much if not more.

Something like this is on the roof

You can easily feed 2000 tuners from a Satellite distribution system.
