as an alternative to a rescue wood, i woulg recommend a 7 wood. like a rescue it is much easier to hit out of rough than a long iron.

would recommend the Titliest rescue wood though

    A rescue 2 replaces a 2 iron. So I'm told anyway.
    So get a rescue 2.

always found the cobra baffler rescues easy to hit and would agree on the ping range, nothing but good reports with them

I have tried several rescue woods over the years. in my opinion the best I have used are the taylormade rescue 3 a bit pricy though. What I use most and just as good as the Taylormade is the Nike cpr 19 Degree and the 22 Degree. Both very easy to hit. I can actually get 200 yds if I connect right with the 22 degree.

i actually find it hard hit my R7 7 wood from the rough, no problem off the tee but odd time on fairway it can be hit 'n' miss.

Can hit a rescue from anywhere though so have a TM rescue mid 24 degree in the bag thats used for my second shot on par 5's.
